Insurance Fraud Suspected in 911 Collapse of WTC-7

Mar 15, 2007 07:11

The owner of the entire WTC complex was Larry Silverstein, who made insurance companies suspicious that the collapse of WTC-7 was not caused by collateral damage from the collapse of WTC-1 and WTC-2.

On a PBS documentary, America Rebuilds, he said, "We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it. And they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse."

The German insurance company, the Allianz Group would owe $US553 million, but "published a shareholder proposal on April 20th faulting management for ignoring signs of insurance fraud on 9/11/2001," by shareholder John Leonard.

Silverstein is suing Allianz.
