Venezuelan and US Planes Playing Gotcha?

Mar 13, 2007 12:28

The world is merely waiting for the Late Great United States to go bankrupt. Once that happens, there will be no money for the military to play video warrior that could threaten anyone.

Russian intelligence gives an interesting interpretation of the F-16 Fighter crash off the coast of Cuba, March 12, 2007.

They say that, "Conflicting reports are emerging from Cuba today that allege the shooting down of an American F-16 Fighter Jet by a Venezuelan Sukhoi-30MK2 Russian Fighter Jet participating in large scale Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces wargames in Pinar del Rio province."

US provocation is suggested by the response of Cuban Defense Minister Raul Castro who said, "If anyone attacks us, we're ready to pay any price necessary, but the price paid by the invaders of our country would be much higher."

Lately the US has been losing at these military games of cat and mouse, and the F16 regularly loses in simulated combat with the Su-30.

Apparently South America is tense because of US Special Forces are present in Columbia helping to suppress a leftish insurgency of all things, rather than the one in Washington.
"Tensions in Latin America remain high after this latest incident... with the introduction of American Military Forces into the conflict between Colombia and its rebel faction FARC."
