Texas Girl Raid Causes Turmoil in the Church

Apr 06, 2008 19:46

The arguments have begun between the churches about the Texas raid that broke up dozens of families and netted 200 girls for the state, regarding the legitimacy of marriage. The statist do not recognize any marriage not authorized by the state, while the religious recognize the union separate from the state regardless of law.

The arguments are reduced to two points: (1) whether polygamy is sin; and (2) whether a teenager can marry. Moses, who related that god himself specified the law for conjugal rights of several wives, means nothing to the statist churches who only recognize the state law.

Likewise, a teen girl receives no mercy from the state churches even though their dead rabbi, Jesus, was born to a girl between 13 and 15 years old, thereby granting sanctity to the young girls."Most commentaries guess that she was about fourteen years old at the time, as that was the age when women commonly married.... Tradition says that Joseph himself was an older man."

The arguing is dividing the already fractured evangelicals and has caught the attention of, you guessed it, the polygamist Muslims. It ought to be instructive to the silly Christians that no state army dare raid a Muslim commune and training center!

One Muslim said, "According to the 'Oxford Dictionary Bible' commentary, Mary was was 12 years old when she became impregnated.

So if I want to be as silly and ridiculous as many of the Christians, I would respond to them by saying that Mary was psychologically and emotionally devastated for getting pregnant at a very young age.

And speaking of 'child molesting', since most Christians believe that Jesus is the Creator of this universe, then why did GOD allow himself to enter life through a 12-year old young girl's vagina?"

Sometimes your enemies will tell you more truth about yourself than your friends. A second reformation soon and quickly is needed.
