Military Communications Problems

Jul 13, 2007 11:59

Once again the ham radio operators are having to decipher the latest incident. On Wednesday evening July 11, 2007 there was widespread jamming of military HF for several hours.

The Hawk wrote, "This jamming was done with white noise and it overlaped the frequencies on either side by approximately 10 cycles. Along with this widespread jamming there was traffic which described trouble also with various sat comm systems in various areas around the world.

Some discussion has also indicated that massive cyber attack upon certain specific nodes of the internet which serve some command and continuity of government bunkers was also evident and disruptive."

The suspects are Russia and China which have the capability to conduct such an operation, and is regarded as a preparatory phase for war. In this case it may have been a warning to the White House.
