America Turns Viscous

Apr 06, 2007 11:07

If America allows the courts to destroy basic principles, then there is nothing to stop those courts from eventually attacking them as well. In this instance the doctrine being destroyed is freedom of conscious; the intrinsic right to your own beliefs.

The law was limited to genuine actions, not beliefs or even conspiracies, since a belief may change under the influence of preaching, resulting in a change conduct. Meaning; conspiracy is not punishable.

On April, 4 2007, "Tariq Ibn Osman SHAH, a New York City martial arts instructor pleaded guilty to pledging allegiance to al Qaeda." That was his guilt.

He also did something that will become more common as the US slouches toward civil war: he offered "to train would-be terrorists in urban and hand-to-hand combat."

Again, nothing "illegal".

But a weak central government is an insecure one that will strike at any possible enemy. SHAH is one of four Muslims participating in the takeover of the US. Assisting them is U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi who Bush does not know whether to prosecute.

Another Muslim, Mahmud Faruq BRENT, pleaded guilty to attending a training camp. The very sort of camp that US militias have used in the past. Militia training has been grandfathered into the Patriot Acts, and the first shots fired may be expected when the feds attack one.

Humanitarian assistance is legitimate only when provided by the state as can be seen in the trial of Rafiq SABIR, a doctor from Boca Raton, Florida who "is charged with agreeing to treat wounded terrorists in Saudi Arabia."

Considering the ruthless murder of the messianic congregation in Waco by the feds, it is understandable that running a hospital is criminal.

But Nancy will not be arrested.

In Columbus, Ohio, Paul Kenyatta Laws is indicted "on charges of joining al-Qaida and conspiring to bomb European tourist resorts and U.S. government facilities and military bases overseas."

Nancy still has not returned from Iran, but will face only verbal abuse.
