Intrigue over Sanford

Gina Smith was the only reporter to get an anonymous tip to be at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 6:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. She also previously received old love emails about a woman living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, anonymously.

It is possible that a man could be that obsessed but almost inconceivable. Yet an Argentine witness said, "Sanford arrived at the complex, alone, with a small sports bag last week and asked to go inside the building."

Attempting to read his response, one gets the impression that he would rather have us believe that there are not enough 20 year old local hotties willing to strip for a celebrity that he has to go after a 43 year old in Argentina.

Perhaps, but Gina reported, "Sanford was nervous -- not so much when I first approached him, but certainly once we were seated in the airport terminal and the interview began.

For several moments, he gazed off, searching for the words, his mouth opening, then closing.

If the FSB leaked the truth then Sanford was a dead man. His only protection would have been to tell the truth, which the FSB may have done, but who believes the FSB? Gina is leaving the story incomplete: Who had the Intel needed to know where and when to find Sanford? And to have old emails? Either the woman ratted him, or an Intel operation leaked the story. The rat may occur once but not twice. The state operation is everlasting, however.

"Had he been alone in Buenos Aires?

'Yes,' he said." Presumably he never gained entry.

Smith did not ask him if he had been to Ottawa first, and if he was, then Sanford is a sure candidate for being suicided until he confirms the details.
