"This is not an Assault" says Bush to Putin

May 31, 2007 12:56

The Russian president does not listen to Rice's assurance that "the planned missile defense system in eastern Europe poses no threat to Russia and that Moscow's concern over it is 'ludicrous.'"

He knows better.

Putin repeatedly warns Bush that a "diktatorship" is never to be trusted, but expediency rules conservatives and liberals in America. Whatever works is what they will do with no restraint from mere words of law or constitution. Putin said, "This is very dangerous and unhealthy. The norms of international law have been altered for political expediency. What is this political expediency and who defines it?"

Exactly.

The US is a lawless, unconstitutional state that now views its own citizens as enemies. How does Putin view Bush? Perhaps as if Bush were repeating the US treachery toward a messianic congregation in Waco, Texas in 1993 when, "'This is not an assault,' said the voice of a government official at the scene as an M-60 tank tore off the wall of the Branch Davidians' home and shot tear gas in their faces."

Perhaps he dos not wish to die amid cries of peace.
