Before the bombing of the federal building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the NRA published an article outlining the role of militias in the American constitution that could have served as the genesis of a popular militia movement revival.

Like all political animals, the NRA backed away from a historically backed position in the face of Bill Clinton's own animal like reflex to the bombing. But one group of men is not like Bubba or the respectable NRA board and began their own militia within the US. Thanks to the unconstitutional president Clinton, America has no broad militia movement, but instead it has a new anti-constitutional Sharia militia movement.

Congratulations gun owners.

"Situated within a dense forest at the foothills of the Catskill Mountains on the outskirts of Hancock, New York," is the Muslim militia training center of Islamberg. It "is not an ideal place for a summer vacation unless, of course, you are an exponent of the Jihad or a fan of Osama bin Laden."

It is a 70 acre complex surrounded with "No trespassing" signs and the mountainous forest is infested with rattlesnake, "black bears, coyotes, wolves, and a few bobcats."

The entrance to the remote encampment is at the bottom of a very steep hill guarded by a sentry post. The road into the compound, named Muslim Lane, "is unpaved and marred by deep crevices that have been created by torrential downpours."

The sentry, was a Black Muslim in Arabic dress a "skull cap, a prayer shawl, and a loose fitting shalwat kameez." The sentry stops all visitors from entering.

"Behind the sentry and across a small stream stand dozens of inhabitants of the compound -- the men wearing skull caps and loose fitting tunics, the women in full burqa. They appear ready to deal with any unauthorized intruders."

The barracks are rusty trailers on a hillside "that appear to be without power or running water and a number of outhouses."

The locals respect the camp and do not pry into their activities. Even the undertaker who has delivered bodies to the complex has never been granted entrance. He said, "I don't know what's going on there but I don't think it's legal."

In the communal living area on the other side of the hill, there is a village with an Islamic school (dubbed the "International Quranic Open University"); a trailer converted into a Laundromat; a small, green community center; a small and rather squalid grocery store; a newly constructed majid; over forty clapboard homes; and scores of additional trailers.

Like the Davidian retreat in Waco, Texas, it is home to hundreds of families. The main difference between them is that Black Muslims are engaged in jihad while Messianic Jewish and Christian congregations are not. Most of the jihadists are from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

The compound is always busy, but weekends have large numbers of visitors, "The guest includes arrivals from the inner cities of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania and, occasionally, white-robed dignitaries in Ray-Bans from the Middle East."

Douglas Hagmann, director of the Northeast Intelligence Service, infiltrated the compound and saw "a military training area at the eastern perimeter of the property... equipped with ropes hanging from tall trees, wooden fences for scaling, a make-shift obstacle course, and a firing range." Nearly every weekend gunfire can be heard and "the bang of small explosives."

The neighbors respect their militancy. One neighbor said, "We don't even dare to slow down when we drive by... They own the mountain and they know it and there is nothing we can do about it but move, and we can't even do that. Who wants to buy a property near that?" Ideally, a serious minded constitutional militia would benefit from the interaction.

One reason why it would make a good training area for none-Muslim militias is the respect given the Muslims by the federal government which they would never extend to "domestic terrorists" like a constitutional militia. And if the local wimps made a similar complaint as described below, would bring a weapons raid and a press briefing. The locals said:

"The complex serves to scare the bejeesus out of the local residents."If you go there, you better wear body armor," a customer at the Circle E Diner in Hancock said. "They have armed guards and if they shoot you, nobody will find your body."

At Cousins, a watering hole in nearby Deposit, a barfly, who didn't wish to be identified, said: "The place is dangerous. You can hear gunfire up there. I can't understand why the FBI won't shut it down."

Because they are not constitutionally minded, "domestic terrorist."

Islamberg was formed in 1980 by Pakistani cleric Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilaniis and Muslims of the Americas Inc., a tax-exempt 501-C3. Imam Mubarak Ali Gilani, has been directly linked to Jamaat ul-Fuqra.

American Jamaat ul-Fuqra has operational headquarters in New York and recruits through social service organizations in the U.S., including prisons. Members live in hamaats, such as Islamberg, where they agree to abide by the laws of Islam, which are considered to be above local, state and federal laws.

"Additional hamaats have been established in Hyattsville, Maryland; Red House, Virginia; Falls Church, Virginia; Macon, Georgia; York, South Carolina; Dover, Tennessee; Buena Vista, Colorado; Talihina, Oklahoma; Tulane Country, California; Commerce, California; and Onalaska, Washington. Others are being built, including an expansive facility in Sherman, Pennsylvania." Good sites for constitutionaly minded types.

Islamberg's loyalty oath reads: "I shall always hear and obey, and whenever given the command, I shall readily fight for Allah's sake."

Before compounds such as Islamberg, new recruits traveled to Pakistan for military training, but now they are completely self sustaining. Patriot Act did nothing to stop Islamic recruits, only naive Americans.

The Muslim militia is impressive in their activism. "Over the years, numerous members of Jamaat ul-Fuqra have been convicted in US courts of such crimes as conspiracy to commit murder, firebombing, gun smuggling, and workers' compensation fraud. Others remain leading suspects in criminal cases throughout the country, including ten unsolved assassinations and seventeen fire-bombings between 1979 and 1990.

In 2001, a resident of a California compound was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting of a sheriff's deputy; another was charged with gun-smuggling' and twenty-four members of the Red House community were convicted of firearms violations."

Both the DC "sniper killer" John Allen Muhammed and "Shoe Bomber" Richard Reid were at Islamberg. The effectiveness of their training evidenced in DC was questionable however. The corrupt federal, state, and local law enforcement had no clue to what numerous witnesses knew. Willful ignorance may yet see a grand jury of their anti-peers.

Between 1979 and 2007 very few Muslim militias have been destroyed by infiltrating federal traitors whose only interest was in busting "white boys with guns." They destroyed the constitutional militias from the inside, but may yet face a grand jury of the people they subverted if they fail to hold the center.

Every patriot should recognize what the federal government is doing. Islam is no threat to them because Allah will allow them to keep their jobs after changing the laws they enforce. "Even though Jamaat ul-Fuqra has been involved in terror attacks and sundry criminal activities, recruited thousands of members from federal and state penal systems, and appears to be operating paramilitary facilities for militant Muslims, it remains to be placed on the official US Terror Watch List. On the contrary, it continues to operate, flourish, and expand as a legitimate nonprofit, tax-deductible charity."

It was a strategic mistake for the NRA to not follow up on militia organization after Bill Clinton accused them of responsibility for the Oklahoma City bombing. Perhaps the NRA is not the best organization and a better choice might be one that is diametrically opposed to Allah: Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership. They know about fighting Nazi's.
