Mexican Civil War may Spread to Arizona

The new Beirut is along the Mexican border where Wednesday, 16 May 2007 a battle between the state and insurgents that killed 5 policemen, and 15 guerrillas.

The battle started in "the town of Cananea, 20 miles south of the U.S. border" after 40 guerrillas abducted and killed 4 policemen, and abducted 3 more along with Cananea residents, and who later escaped during the battle.

The guerrillas had moved south to the "mountainous terrain around the town of Arizpe," where troops using a helicopter, discovered them.
