Swine Flu Directed toward Catholic Church?

An almost universal proclamation by bishops was "not to let parishioners drink from the same chalice during Communion, and to bow rather than shake hands during greetings." The fact that many of the infected schools were Catholic has not escaped notice of the Israeli media, particularly in view of the Pope's planned visit to Israel next week, where he hopes to obtain 6 parcels of land from Israel.

The Jews regarded his conduct as "piggish," and that Moshiach was troubling the Pope's lands like Mexico, just as he has been troubling Israel. The usual Christian answer is that the Lord does not kill his own flock can be measured against two warnings by the rabbis themselves where one particularly mentions the communion saying, "Anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died."

And another warning that refutes the canard that god would not harm anyone (now that he has repented of his Old Testament militarism), is actually an anathema by making the terroristic threat: "I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he."

The Catholic church has responded in a big way to what amounted to a normal flu outbreak for everyone else. Since World War II the Vatican has connived to obtain Jerusalem, and offered the rest of Israel to be ruled by the secular Italian fascists. Now that the prize is within their grasp, they find disaster overcomes them.
