The Pope Visits Jerusalem as a Pig in a Poke

The Vatican has been attempting to wrest control of Jerusalem since World War II with the original intention that the rest of Israel would be run by the Italian government. The current pope is touring Jerusalem with the expectation that he will soon receive 6 parcels of the entire city that he seeks.

On Monday, 11 May 2009 the pope as guardian to the prophets said the absurd. If the pope had only said, "It is my earnest hope that all pilgrims to the holy places will be able to access them freely and without restraint, to take part in religious ceremonies and to promote the worthy upkeep of places of worship on sacred sites," then he would merely be polite. But instead he joins them as part of Isaiah's prophecy.

He added, "May the words of Isaiah's prophesy be fulfilled, that many nations shall flow to the mountain of the house of the Lord, that he may teach them his ways, that they may walk in his paths -- paths of peace and justice, paths that lead to reconciliation and harmony."

The nations do not go to Jerusalem to visit Al-Aqsa but the Temple of god that the prophet said would be rebuilt there. Not only will the house of god be rebuilt, but Ha Moshiach would be the rabbi teaching the pilgrims. What did the pope leave out? The actual text says, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths. The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem."

And there, we see the reason for the frantic effort to steal Jerusalem from Jacob: to stop god from returning to earth, yes, but more so that the Law would not be "enforced" on these depraved politicians. Like the pope.
