On Thursday June 7th 2007, Olmert publicly announced his intention to give the Golan to Syria and on that same day the siege in Plainfield hit the airways. 84% of Jews object to the plan, setting in place the future civil conflict if the Golan should be seceded. Repercussions in the US will have a similar result of pitting large numbers of Americans against their government.

Knowing that preparations for the Plainfield operation must have begun long before, we can see the same pattern of how the Egyptian buildup began prior to the war. On June 5, 1967 the Six Day War began, this is the fortieth anniversary of the war the West terms "The Six Day War". War broke out on 5 June when Israel responded to the Egyptian military build-up by launching a surprise attack on Egypt’s air force.

This appears to be what the White House is hoping for, to have their SS attacked first.
